Phoresis will zone without an A peak, provided there is an F peak of at least 3 to 5 % or more, and an A2 peak. For example, SS patients who do not have A peaks, may be on a treatment that increases the Hb F. These patients will zone in Phoresis provided they are responding to the treatment and creating enough Hb F.
